The MEFaverse represents Method Man's foray into the metaverse, reimagining the Wu-Tang legend as a literal superhero in a fantastical version of New York City. This project bridges the gap between comic book storytelling and blockchain technology, creating the first expanded comic universe native to Web3.

The first piece of the objective was to produce 21 character concept illustrations from ground up, building lore based on the original content produced by associates at Wu Music Group and Method Man. Each character in the roster had a full background of personalities, motivations, and specific looks we wanted to hit for each of their designs.

I illustrated the cover of an accompanying graphic novel promised to stakeholders as the first graphic novel in the Metaverse. The cover was used on a number of articles reporting this new project and release by Method Man and his team.
