Voter Education Campaign
CONNECTICUT SECRETARY OF THE STATE
CONNECTICUT SECRETARY OF THE STATE
This public awareness initiative was designed to educate voters on new absentee ballot procedures when COVID-19 dramatically altered traditional voting methods. The campaign included creating clear step-by-step instructions, designing accessible bilingual materials, and developing a unified visual system across digital platforms to demystify the absentee voting process. Working with state officials, we crafted messaging that emphasized the security and accessibility of absentee voting while addressing misinformation, ultimately helping to ensure all eligible Connecticut voters could safely participate in the democratic process during unprecedented circumstances.
ART DIRECTION • DESIGN • STORYBOARDING • CAMPAIGN PRODUCTION
As part of our comprehensive voter education strategy, we produced a series of 12 instructional videos that guided Connecticut voters through every step of the absentee ballot process. My initial video established our visual language and animation style, serving as the foundation for all subsequent content in the campaign and ensuring consistent messaging across the entire educational series.
STORYBOARD AND ANIMATION
Our voter education campaign was further reinforced through strategic printed materials, including informational brochures, step-by-step instruction cards, and multilingual posters displayed in public spaces. These tangible resources complemented our digital efforts by reaching voters with limited internet access and providing physical reference guides that helped ensure all Connecticut residents could confidently participate in the absentee voting process.
